ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for an organised and proactive HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources team at Oldham College.

This is a varied and people-focused role, supporting employee engagement, learning and development, onboarding, wellbeing initiatives and wider HR administration across the College.

You will play a key role in creating a positive employee experience, supporting professional development activity and helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the HR function.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative experience who is passionate about people, organisation and continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES In this role you will: Support employee engagement, wellbeing and staff experience initiatives across the College Coordinate onboarding activity and help facilitate College welcome events for new starters Support the delivery and monitoring of learning and development, CPD and mandatory training activity Maintain accurate HR systems and produce data and reports to support HR processes and decision making Provide administrative support across a range of HR activities including recruitment, onboarding, absence and policy processes Carry out duties in line with College policies and procedures, including safeguarding and equality commitments SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE We are looking for someone who can demonstrate: CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent HR experience Experience working within a busy HR or administrative environment Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships across the College Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel, with the ability to manage data and produce reports WHY JOIN US We offer a supportive working environment with opportunities to develop and progress.
