Dynamics 365 Business Central Systems Accountant!Leicester (4 days a week in office)Salary: 40k - 60k + benefitsOur client is actively seeking an experienced Business Central Systems Accountant to join their finance team. This pivotal role involves working closely with the management accounts team to enhance financial processes and controls within Dynamics 365 Business Central.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with the financial controller to uphold and enhance internal financial controls, ensuring these are efficient, effective, and compliant.Address inconsistencies in management reporting by analyzing financial documents and transactions, highlighting issues, and initiating necessary system updates and user training.Maintain and improve financial governance across all finance systems and processes, including automating manual journal entries to ensure consistency and accuracy.Oversee the usage and treatment of credit memos and invoices within the system, ensuring proper protocols are followed.Manage and refine inventory valuation, journal entries, and accrual processes, collaborating with the systems team on data integrity and system fixes.Design and streamline month-end processes specific to the fashion industry within Business Central, ensuring timely and accurate financial closure.Lead the onboarding of additional entities into Business Central across various regions, including Spain, Italy, and Germany.Develop and maintain robust reporting systems to monitor and manage user errors and system processes effectively, ensuring thorough and reliable order management and invoicing.Ensure consistent management of posting groups and dimensions within Business Central, identifying and implementing improvements proactively.Required Qualifications and Skills: Certified Financial Accountant with significant experience in Dynamics 365 Business Central.Proficient in data interrogation with advanced Excel skills; Power BI knowledge is a plus.Demonstrated ability to manage system configurations and implement changes within Business Central.Experience with C/AL, AL code, and Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central is desirable, as is experience in the fashion industry environment.Exceptional organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to thrive under pressure and meet strict deadlines.Strong communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders.This full-time position requires the candidate to be in the office at least four days per week to ensure effective team alignment and collaboration.The Opportunity:This is an exciting opportunity to gain further knowledge and experience within a fast paced environment while building on your Dynamics 365 experience.If you are a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a thorough understanding of Business Central, looking to drive financial excellence in a dynamic team environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity with our client.Contract typePermanent
