About the role
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry CDP to join our Client's 4* luxurious Hotel in Coventry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of pastry dishes in accordance with the Hotels standards.

Responsibilities:
Assist with managing the pastry section of the kitchen and liaising with the Pastry Head Chef to ensure a successful working environment.
Preparing ingredients and handling baking and other kitchen equipment.
Creating pastries, baked goods, and confections, by following a set recipe.
Assist with developing new recipes for seasonal menus.
Decorating pastries and desserts to ensure beautiful and tasteful presentation.
Monitoring and ordering the stock.
Ensuring the pastry section adheres to safety and health regulations.
Training junior staff members.
Skills:
Experience in fine dining establishments.
Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking, or relevant field would be preferred.
Good knowledge of different types of pastries, desserts, cake decorating.
Great attention to detail and creativity
In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation, nutrition and allergens. xwzovoh
