About the role

The Company We’re working alongside a respected and financially strong civil engineering contractor with an established presence across the South West. Through long-standing frameworks and repeat client partnerships, the business continues to secure a healthy pipeline of infrastructure work across the region. Specialising in highways structures and reinforced concrete schemes, their portfolio includes: Bridges Retaining walls Culverts Parapets Associated highways infrastructure works Projects are typically delivered across the South West region, predominantly south of Bristol, and range from small to medium-sized schemes. Known for their collaborative delivery style, technical capability, and consistent performance, the company has built a reputation for delivering safe, high-quality infrastructure projects that clients continue to trust and reinvest in. Due to continued growth and a secured framework workload, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Site Agent to join their Bristol team. The Role As Site Agent, you’ll oversee the successful delivery of multiple highways structures and reinforced concrete projects, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with programme expectations. You’ll manage day-to-day operational activity on site while acting as the key link between clients, subcontractors, and internal delivery teams. Responsibilities will include: Leading client meetings and site progress reviews Managing subcontractors and coordinating supply chain activities Supervising, mentoring, and motivating site teams Developing look-ahead programmes and short-term works plans Preparing and reviewing RAMS documentation Interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications Monitoring quality assurance and health & safety standards Ensuring compliance with framework procedures and company processes The Candidate We’re looking to speak with experienced Site Agents who have a strong background within civil engineering and highways structures environments. You’ll ideally have: A degree in Civil Engineering or similar discipline Previous experience working for a civil engineering main contractor Proven delivery experience across highways structures and RC schemes Familiarity working within framework-led delivery environments Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving capability Excellent communication and leadership skills A quality and safety-focused approach to project delivery What’s On Offer?
