Child Protection Chair 📍 Gloucestershire 💷 £40.00 per hour 🏡 Predominantly Home Based An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Child Protection Chair to support Gloucestershire's ongoing commitment to improving outcomes for children and families. The Role You will: * Chair Initial Child Protection Conferences * Lead Review Child Protection Conferences * Ensure effective challenge and scrutiny of safeguarding practice * Promote the voice of the child throughout conference processes * Support quality assurance and best practice across the service Working Arrangements * Initial Child Protection Conferences conducted face-to-face * Review conferences attended in person where required * Team meetings held face-to-face * Predominantly home-based working outside of these commitments Requirements * Qualified Social Worker * Social Work England registration * Extensive child protection experience * Previous conference chairing experience preferred * Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and practice * Ability to challenge constructively and drive positive outcomes Rate £40.00 per hour Immediate interviews available
