B1 Helicopter Engineer

Our client, a specialist aviation company, operating a fleet of helicopters who are committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, reliability, and engineering excellence are looking to recruit a B1 Helicopter Engineer to join their team near Romford, Greater London. On Offer: * Immediate starts available * 8:30-5:30 Mon to Fri but can be slightly flexible * 1 hour lunch plus 2 x 15minute breaks * Competitive salary – dependent on skills and experience * Opportunities for professional development and certification * Supportive team environment * Exposure to a diverse and exciting aviation operation Main Purpose of the B1 Helicopter Engineer: The Helicopter Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and repair of twin engine helicopters, ensuring all work is carried out to regulatory standards and manufacturer specifications. The role involves both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and will require close collaboration with flight operations and compliance teams. Duties and Responsibilities of the B1 Helicopter Engineer: * Perform routine and non-routine maintenance * Conduct inspections, diagnostics, and repairs in accordance with CAA regulations and company procedures. * Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities. * Ensure airworthiness and safety standards are consistently met. * Liaise with operations and compliance teams to coordinate maintenance schedules. * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and safety audits.
