Automatic Door Engineer

We are recruiting an Automatic Door Engineer to join a leading global entrance solutions provider covering the London area. As an Automatic Door Engineer, you will work across the inner London area, supporting customers with high‑quality service, maintenance and repairs. This role is ideal for an experienced Automatic Door Engineer looking for stability, strong earnings and long‑term career development. Due to continued growth, we are now seeking an Automatic Door Engineer who can deliver exceptional technical support across a wide range of automatic door systems. The successful Automatic Door Engineer will carry out PPM, reactive repairs, BS EN 16005 compliance checks and first‑time fixes while representing a respected, industry‑leading brand. Role Overview You’ll support customers across London, carrying out service, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of automatic door systems. Your work will include * Servicing, repairing and fault‑finding on sliding, swing and revolving doors * Electrical checks, sensor testing and control system diagnostics * Completing BS EN 16005 safety checks and compliance documentation * Attending breakdowns and delivering first‑time fixes where possible * Supporting installations and commissioning when required * Providing clear updates and a professional on‑site service Ideal Candidate * Experience with automatic doors * Strong fault‑finding skills and basic electrical knowledge * Full UK driving licence + relevant operating licences * Ability to work independently across customer sites * Positive attitude and commitment to high‑quality engineering Salary Package & Rewards * £42,900 * £2,400 on‑call allowance (£200 per week) * Premium overtime (time‑and‑a‑half & double time) * Monthly bonuses (£200–£600) * 33 days holiday (25 + bank holidays) * 4‑week technical training programme + ongoing development * Modern van, tools, tablet, mobile, uniform and fuel card * Healthcare, pension, life cover, enhanced family leave and mental health support Apply Today If you’re an experienced Automatic Door Engineer based in the Wiltshire / Chippenham / Swindon area, we’d love to hear from you.
