Job Description Personal Injury & Medical Negligence Solicitor Legal 500, Accredited London Firm /n A well established, Lexcel accredited law firm with multiple offices across London and Essex is looking to recruit an experienced Personal Injury & Medical Negligence Solicitor to join its growing team in Ilford. /n Recognised by the Legal 500 for excellence across a range of practice areas, the firm has built an excellent reputation for delivering high quality legal services and achieving outstanding outcomes for its clients. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and experienced team handling a varied caseload of claimant personal injury and clinical negligence matters. /n The Role You will manage your own caseload of claimant personal injury and medical negligence files from instruction through to conclusion, dealing with a broad range of complex matters while delivering an exceptional standard of client care. /n Your responsibilities will include: /n /n /n - Managing a caseload of personal injury and medical negligence claims from inception to conclusion /n - Assessing liability and quantum, gathering evidence and reviewing medical records /n - Liaising with medical experts, counsel and other professionals /n - Drafting court documents, pleadings and legal correspondence /n - Negotiating settlements and advising clients throughout the litigation process /n - Representing clients at mediations, settlement meetings and court hearings where required /n - Ensuring compliance with procedural deadlines and regulatory requirements /n - Keeping up to date with developments in personal injury and clinical negligence law /n /n About You /n The successful candidate will: /n /n /n /n - Be a qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years' PQE /n - Have solid experience handling claimant personal injury and medical negligence matters /n - Be confident managing a busy caseload with minimal supervision /n - Possess excellent negotiation, drafting and analytical skills /n - Deliver outstanding client care with strong written and verbal communication skills /n - Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail /n /n What's on Offer /n /n /n - Opportunity to join a Legal 500 recognised and Lexcel accredited firm /n - High quality and varied claimant personal injury and clinical negligence work /n - Supportive and collaborative working environment /n - Genuine long term career development opportunities /n /n
