Civil Technician

Civil Technician A growing multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Civil Technician to join its expanding infrastructure team in Welwyn Garden City. This is an excellent opportunity for a Civil Technician with experience in infrastructure and drainage design to work on a diverse portfolio of projects across sectors including residential, logistics, retail, commercial and data centres. The Role Responsibilities will include: Producing and reviewing civil engineering drawings and technical documentation Assisting with infrastructure, highways and drainage design projects Supporting site surveys and gathering technical information Developing 2D and 3D CAD models for infrastructure schemes Assisting with project coordination and technical approvals Maintaining accurate project records and documentation Supporting engineers with project delivery and technical reporting Ensuring designs comply with UK standards and client specifications Requirements HNC/HND or degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline Experience using AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar design software Knowledge of drainage and infrastructure design principles Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams Good communication and problem-solving abilities Experience within a civil engineering consultancy environment is desirable What’s on Offer Hybrid and flexible working options Private medical insurance Enhanced pension contribution Annual professional membership fees paid Ongoing CPD and training support Collaborative and supportive working environment Clear career progression opportunities within a growing consultancyThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking consultancy delivering complex infrastructure projects across the UK and Europe while continuing to develop your technical and professional skills
