Our people work on market-leading matters that driveinnovation, growth, and transformation around the world.For AshurstPerkins Coie, innovation is our tradition.What makes Ashurst Perkins Coie a great place to work?Flexible work options - part-time, working from home andadditional leaveHealth and wellbeing benefits, gym membership, and discountedcorporate health plansCareer advancement - client secondment opportunities, globalopportunities, and award-winning Learning & Development programsThe Opportunity:Our Bids & Pursuits team are enthusiastic and passionate businessdevelopment professionals, unified by a common goal: to ensure wedeliver excellence in winning work and generating profitable businessfor the firm.You will be an integral part of the team supporting the developmentof best practice bids in collaboration with the wider BusinessDevelopment team, partners, clients and other stakeholders.Working directly with partners and key stakeholders across practice,industry and business services you will lead the end to enddevelopment of high quality, distinctive and compelling client-centredbids and pursuits.Key responsibilities of the role include:Work with fee-earners, BD team members, and other stakeholders todefine the bid strategy with a clear value proposition and winthemes for all bids.Manage end to end process for bids and pursuits from qualificationto submissions, presentations and aftercare, including content management.Champion Ashurst Perkins Coie's global bid & pursuitmethodology, drive best practice and continuous improvement acrosspursuits and bids.Work closely with CMG colleagues to coach, advise and influencepartners and other key stakeholders on opportunity qualification andpursuit strategy.Lead the development of win strategies, considering relationship,commerciality, competitive positioning and pursuit intelligence.This is a full-time, fixed term contract role based in our Londonoffice with hybrid working.More information can be found in the job description attached to therole on our careers site.The successful candidate will have:5+ years' experience in a pursuit and bid role in legal,professional services or other relevant environments with a proventrack record of winning strategic bids.Strong technical capability in leading pursuits, includingstakeholder management and project management skills, and a provenability to successfully manage work-winning processes.Experience supporting bid teams throughout the bid lifecycle,including critical meetings, presentations and commercial negotiations.Excellent organisational skills; ability to manage multipleopportunities simultaneously, work to timescales and deadlines setby clients.Experience of managing complex opportunities across practice,borders with multiple stakeholders and challenging timelines.#LI-HYBRID#LI-IW1
