Maths Teacher

Maths Teacher – Birley Academy, Sheffield The Supply Register is working in partnership with Birley Academy to recruit a Maths Teacher on a flexible supply basis. This is a great opportunity for a qualified teacher who is confident delivering engaging Maths lessons and supporting student progress across Key Stage 3 and 4. The role includes: • Delivering high-quality Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum • Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all students • Maintaining a positive and well-managed classroom environment • Assessing, marking, and providing timely feedback • Managing behaviour in line with school expectations • Working collaboratively with department colleagues and wider school staff We’re looking for candidates who: • Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification • Have experience teaching Maths at secondary level • Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills • Communicate effectively and professionally • Hold high expectations for student achievement and behaviour • Hold (or are willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service Why apply? • Weekly pay every Friday • Competitive pay rates • Flexible supply opportunities • Ongoing CPD and professional development • Supportive school environment • Pension scheme options Interested?
