NHS Associate Finance Director

NHS Associate Finance Director | Band 8C | 3–6 Month Assignment | 4 Days a Week

Are you an experienced NHS finance professional ready to bring your skills to a high-performing, values-driven organisation?

We’re looking for a fully qualified accountant with strong NHS finance experience to step into an interim Assistant Finance Director role. You'll be leading on financial strategy, compliance, and operational delivery in support of a major healthcare estate development and maintenance programme.

What’s on offer?

• Band 8C level assignment
• 3–6 month contract
• 4 days per week (0.8 WTE)
• Hybrid working – 2 days working from home
• Site base: South East

You’ll need:

• Full CCAB qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Worked at Head of Finance level or above
• A solid track record within NHS finance roles
• The ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced, change-focused environment
