Project Manager (Racking & Storage)

Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading distributor of Racking & Storage products that are looking to to on-board a Project Manager to effectively manage their projects across the UK. With a competitive basic salary and a number of other benefits, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual with a strong understanding of the Racking & Mezzanine industry.  Responsibilities Managing projects of various sizes and values to fit customers’ requirements for racking and mezzanine products Working closely with customers throughout the project’s timeline and managing their expectations Visiting sites regularly to liaise with site managers and working closely with the installers Ensuring that all equipment, plant and labor are on site when required and are coordinated effectively Working closely with the Head of Projects and the sales team to ensure that projects run smoothly and efficientlyRequirements The company are ideally looking for an individual with experience of managing projects within the Racking & Mezzanine industry. You will also need to have run multiple projects at the same time. Due to the requirements of the role, you must hold a full UK driver’s license as you will be expected to travel to customer sites a few times per week. In terms of location, you will ideally be based in the West Midlands as there will be a requirement to go to the company’s office but they would consider individuals from further afield provided you are willing to go to the office fairly regularly.  Benefits Up to £44,000 base salary (Depending on experience) Bonus scheme Company vehicle Hybrid workingThe Company The company is a supplier of products for the Racking & Storage industry and supplies them to end users and distributors across the UK.
