Technical Sales Team Leader

Commercial Operations Team Leader Bedford £35 - £40k We are supporting an established B2B organisation with the appointment of a Commercial Operations Team Leader. This is a hands-on leadership position combining people management, customer support, commercial coordination and the delivery of technically led customer requirements. The successful person will already have experience managing direct reports and will be comfortable taking responsibility for the performance, workload and development of a small team. Key Responsibilities for a Commercial Operations Team Leader: ·      Allocating workloads and managing team priorities ·      Supporting the preparation of customer pricing and commercial proposals ·      Coordinating customer requirements from initial enquiry through to completion ·      Working with product information, specifications and technical documentation ·      Reviewing more complex customer requirements and helping the team identify appropriate solutions ·      Liaising with customers and key internal departments ·      Ensuring orders, pricing information and project details are processed accurately ·      Coaching team members and addressing development requirements ·      Maintaining accurate information within internal business systems ·      Identifying opportunities to improve processes and customer experience Key Skills for a Commercial Operations Team Leader: ·      Experience within a manufacturing, engineering, construction or similarly technical environment would be advantageous. ·      comfortable dealing with customer requirements that involve a combination of pricing, product information, specifications, drawings or other technical documentation. ·      Commercial operations ·      Customer account management ·      Sales or project coordination ·      Estimating or pricing ·      Technical customer service ·      Product-led B2B environments If this above sounds like something you could get stuck into, please feel free to apply today
