About the roleAre you a detail-driven operations professional with a passion for financial control and commercial excellence? This is an exciting opportunity to join Imperial College London's Lifelong Learning department as Operations Manager – Commercial, playing a key role in ensuring the financial health and operational effectiveness of a fast-growing, commercially ambitious department. Reporting to the Head of Operations – Commercial, you will take day-to-day ownership of revenue collection, financial reporting, and commercial data management — ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant information is always available to support strategic decision-making. You will also line manage two Revenue Associates, contributing to building a scalable, high-performing team.What you would be doingYou will be the operational engine behind Lifelong Learning's commercial function, working across three core areas:Revenue Operations & Financial Control — You will manage day-to-day revenue collection processes, lead income tracking, payment monitoring and debt management, and ensure accurate reconciliation between CRM, programme records and Imperial's financial systems. You will monitor programme and portfolio profitability through P&L reporting and maintain robust financial controls to meet audit and compliance requirements.Financial Analysis & Reporting — You will produce regular financial reports, dashboards and management information for senior stakeholders, analyse commercial performance data to identify trends and risks, and support the quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting cycle.
