Graduate Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching is seeking enthusiastic, motivated, and ambitious Graduate Teaching Assistants to join a range of excellent secondary schools across North London. The Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students and teachers across the school. You will work closely with pupils to help raise attainment, improve confidence, and create a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Providing 1:1 support for students who require additional academic or pastoral assistance.
• Building positive relationships with students and helping them overcome barriers to learning.
• Delivering small-group intervention sessions to improve student progress.
• Supporting pupils with SEN, behavioural, emotional, or academic needs.
• Assisting with classroom management and promoting positive behaviour.
• Contributing to extracurricular activities, including after-school clubs and enrichment programmes.
• Helping create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
