Chartered Building Surveyor – Leeds | Permanent | Hybrid Working

Are you ready to take the next step in your Building Surveying career?

We’re working with a growing consultancy who are looking for a Chartered Building Surveyor to join their Leeds team. This is a senior role where you’ll lead on a variety of projects, mentor junior surveyors, and provide expert advice across construction and property portfolios.

What you’ll be doing

• Carrying out detailed building surveys and technical reports
• Acting as a key client contact, offering clear and professional advice
• Delivering services such as Dilapidations, Party Wall matters, Planned Preventative Maintenance, and Fire Compartmentation surveys
• Managing construction projects and acting as Contract Administrator/Employer’s Agent
• Supporting planning and building regulation applications
• Advising on sustainability, compliance and health & safety matters
• Leading, supervising and developing Graduate/Building Surveyors
• Contributing to business development and recruitment initiatives

What we’re looking for

• Significant experience as a Building Surveyor, ideally in a consultancy environment
• Strong technical knowledge of surveying, property legislation and building regulations
• Excellent client-facing communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Experience in mentoring and developing junior colleagues
• MRICS or FRICS status
