CNC Programmer

Do you have previous experience working as a CNC Programmer? The basics: Job title: CNC Programmer - SolidCAM Environment: Aerospace Contract length: 12 months FTC Location: near Redditch Hours: Monday to Thursday (7.30am - 4.30pm) Friday (7.30am - 12.30pm) - 39 hours per week Holidays/Benefits: Bonus scheme, salary sacrifice pension, Life assurance, sick pay, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, Overview: With manufacturing facilities located across the UK, we now require a CNC Programmer to join the team. You will be part of the Projects team employed on a 12 month fixed term contract to help with a large influx in work. The role will involved owning the parts and process from design to manufacture and to delivery to the customer - this is a projects focused role where you will be working closely with the design and shop floor teams to ensure the project is ran efficiently. The ideal candidate / CNC Programmer may have some of the following experiences, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually: Previously worked with SolidCAM Previously knowledge of some of the following processes - CNC Machining, EDM Machining, Multi axis laser, welding or forming metals with hydraulics presses A confident communicator due to the nature of the projects focused dutiesCommutable from: Redditch, Alcester, Solihull, Bromsgrove, Coventry, Worcester, Birmingham and surrounding areas.
