About the role
Due to sustained and continued growth, we are currently seeking applications for an additional logistics operator to join our team within our plant located in Ballymena to support with our ever growing customer demands. The hours of work for this role are Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week. The purpose of this role is to support the Logistics department with day to day tasks by ensuring raw materials are processed through from receipt / warehouse to production efficiently & safely, supporting maximised production plan to meet customer requirements OTIF, covering the shunter as and when required in addition to various administrative tasks ie trailer paperwork. Responsibilities: Safe operation of Counterbalance forklift on site, assisting with the receipt of raw materials, ensuring the companys Goods In procedure is adhered to and there is no visible damage or cross contamination evident. Management of pallets on site, ensuring BPL pallets are returned in an efficient manner. Ensure accuracy of data held within system, through cycle counting and weekly stock reconciliation. Maintain cleanliness in the warehouse area, ensuring stores are audit ready at all times, and maintaining a safe work environment and safe work practices. Develop strong relationships with all areas of the wider business and key stakeholders for the good of the site / wider business. Support Holiday Cover in other Roles based on capabilities. Any other work activities within reason and competence Safe operation of the shunter on site as and when required Carry out trailer checklist and report to Supply Chain and Shift Leads. Maintain accurate pre/post shipment administration, including trailer loading sheets, purchase orders, PODs, quantity queries and quality issues. Liaise with Material & Logistics Co-Ordinator to ensure optimal number of trailers held on site.
