About the role

We are recruiting for a Fabric Maintenance Operative / Technician to cover PPM and reactive maintenance on a mobile basis in the Cheshire areas. The fabric maintenance operative will be responsible for working on medical estates and completing planned and reactive maintenance to the buildings. The role is a permanent position paying between 34-37k depending on qualification and skill level. Mon-Fri 40 hours per week days. Van provided Fabric Maintenance Technician Description: Complete reactive repairs, planned maintenance and small works projects. General trade work and building repairs Basic Electrical/lighting tasks Basic plumbing tasks Fabric maintenance duties – basic joinery, painting, plastering etc. Compliance checks Handyperson duties working alongside engineers and other maintenance team where required Fabric Maintenance Technician requirements: Applicants are expected to have several years prior experience some of which will have been in a similar role and have good customer skills Valid driving license Willing and able to pass DBS checks Must have a trade background/training and have worked in the building or estate sector previously It is essential staff are self-motivated and promote a “Can do” customer attitude at all times.
