Financial Modelling Manager

Reporting to the Head of Financial Modelling, the Financial Modelling Manager will be responsible for the development, maintenance and governance of the group's financial modelling framework. You will lead the modelling and analysis underpinning hedge effectiveness, effective interest rate calculations, as well as providing cash flow modelling support for investment valuations and transaction assessments across the group's lending and treasury portfolios. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the development, maintenance and enhancement of the financial models, ensuring they remain and aligned with internal policies and regulatory requirements.Develop automated modelling solutions and support model validation, performance monitoring and assumption reviews.Support the operation and ongoing development of key finance and treasury models including cash flow forecasting.Perform financial analysis, forecasting, stress testing and scenario modelling.Provide modelling and analytical support for investment opportunities, structured finance transactions, warehouse facilities and portfolio acquisitions.Skills, Knowledge & ExpertiseQualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent quantitative finance qualification, with a degree in Mathematics, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.Experience within Banking or Financial Services, with exposure to treasury, lending, structured finance, funding, or balance sheet management.Strong financial modelling expertise, including discounted cash flow valuation, forecasting, scenario analysis, effective interest rate and hedge accounting models.Good understanding of IFRS requirements, particularly hedge accounting and experience supporting complex transactions.Advanced analytical and technical skills including Excel, VBA and Python.Job BenefitsCompetitive salary25 days holiday PLUS your BIRTHDAY offPension contribution with Royal LondonLife AssurancePrivate medical, dental and optical health insurance withAxaHybrid workingFree breakfast available DepartmentFinance Employment TypeFull TimeWorkplace typeHybrid
