Baby Squids Staffordshire & Nantwich is expanding! Calling all Water lovers! At Baby Squids, we do more than teach swimming—we build water confidence for life! We’re looking for an enthusiastic, high-energy swim teacher to join our team and deliver engaging sessions for all ages. If you love working with kids, prioritise safety, and bring joy to the pool, you’ll fit right in. In this role, you’ll lead fun, structured lessons that help children unlock their potential in the water. By bringing your personality to every class and maintaining excellent standards, you’ll ensure both swimmers and parents have an amazing experience every single week. Your Mission (If You Choose to accept Splash!) Be a Baby Squid Ambassador at all times Communicate Honestly with Parents & Carers Be Approachable to listen to any concerns, receptive to feedback, & diligent in follow up Planning Lessons that are Exciting and enjoyable for all Teaching classes in a safe and Positive manner Ensure children are Progressing in their development each term Self-managing – working autonomously in a professional and conscientious way, keeping good time management Liaise with your team about upcoming events and themes. Carry out Marketing within your local area – with support and direction from our Business Development team to Encourage business growth Personal values: Self-motivation, enthusiasm and a “can do” positive attitude Willingness to take ownership and accountability The ability to work equally well on your own and as part of a team. Good general health and fitness levels, maintaining an interest in swimming A friendly and outgoing personality, you swim parents little worlds for a living! Looking to gain CPD in SEN and various other avenues. Flexible Open to evening & Weekend Teaching Essential criteria Must be 18 years old to complete relevant qualification Driving essential Should be confident to talk to parents and children. Our parents are not a number, they are a person. We are a community vibe at Baby Squids Staffs! Excellent intuition Passionate about swimming Happy to sing, play and command a group of children and parents Job Types: Permanent, Freelance as business grows with realistic opportunity to become PAYE £22 p/h 6-10hrs starting wage. Ability to Commute: Staffordshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Cheshire: As growth secures, more timings will open with chance to travel across to our Cheshire pools too. Training: CPD courses to continue personal growth Training can be provided for the correct candidate Real opportunity to progress within the company Ideal Candidate: Licence/Certification: Swim qualification (STA Level 2 Minimum) (preferred) DBS (preferred) Freelance (Required) SEN Knowledge Experience Preferred but NOT essential for the right candidate Thankyou for your interest and hope to chat soon!
