Goods in Inspector

Holt Engineering is recruiting for a Goods in Inspector to join a growing and well-established manufacturing business in Fareham. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role within the quality team, working across goods-in and in-process of electrical and electronic assemblies. The Goods in Inspector role is paying £12.71 – £13 per hour (DOE) and working hours are Mon–Thurs 7:30–16:30 | Fri 7:30–12:30 What the Goods In Inspector role will include:  Inspect electrical & electronic assemblies and PCBs to drawings and standards Carry out goods-in quality checking of orders coming in  Manage calibrated tools – issuing and control Support First Article Inspection (FAIR) processes Assist in resolving quality-related issues and root cause investigations Work closely with the Quality Controller to improve and maintain standards Provide ongoing QA support across the business Proactively flag any risks to quality or deliveryExperience required for the Goods In Inspector:  Previous experience in electronics inspection (essential) Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings Inspection of PCB components (desirable) A structured, methodical approach to problem-solving Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team Good organisational and time management skillsThe benefits for the successful Goods In Inspector:  Join a growing business with strong long-term prospects Early Friday finish every week Supportive team and hands-on, varied roleInterested in the Goods In Inspector role? Call Sam on (phone number removed) or apply now to be considered
