We’re Hiring: Experienced Qualified Accountant Location: Welshpool Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm Contract: 12-month maternity cover Potential for the role to become permanent We are looking for an experienced and qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA) to join our friendly and professional team in Welshpool. This is a full-time position initially offered as 12 months’ maternity cover, with the exciting possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: * Preparation of sole trader and partnership accounts * Preparation of sole trader and partnership tax returns * Preparation of limited company accounts * Preparation of company tax returns * Preparation of VAT returns * Managing workloads effectively and ensuring deadlines are met * Liaising with clients and providing a professional service About You: We are looking for someone who: * Is ACA or ACCA qualified * Has previous experience working in an accountancy practice * Has strong experience in accounts preparation, taxation and VAT * Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail * Can manage their own workload and work to deadlines * Has strong communication and client service skills * Works well both independently and as part of a team This is an excellent opportunity to join an established team in a varied role, with the potential for a long-term future within the business .
