Senior Estimator

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Estimator to join a Fit Out / Refurbishment Construction Contractor based in the South of Glasgow. You will be joining an award-winning company who completes all their projects to the highest of standards and has built a strong client portfolio in the process. Project sectors you can expect to find yourself working on include offices, hotels, industrial units, schools, hospitals and more.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for a range of projects.
• Work closely with Estimating Manager.
• Collaborate closely with further Commercial and Operational teams.
• Oversee estimating process from initial enquiry to final submission.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Maintain up to date knowledge of suppliers and market rates.
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to oversee multiple tenders and deadlines.

Remuneration

• Salary: £65-70K
• Car Allowance: £5K
• Bonus Scheme – 5% of annual salary
