Today, around 40,000 students in more than 190 countries are part of our global learning community.The University of London is also home to the School of Advanced Study, the national centre for the humanities, whose mission is to advocate for the discipline.By working together, we expand access to outstanding higher education and resources, and extend their benefits to learners and researchers across the UK and around the world.RoleDeputy Director of Finance - Financial Planning and AnalysisReporting to the Director of Finance and working in partnership with the Finance Leadership Team, this role supports the Director of Finance in delivering the University’s financial sustainability objectives through effective financial planning, analysis, reporting, budgeting and forecasting.The role leads the Financial Planning & Analysis function, providing high-quality financial insight, modelling and business partnering to support strategic and operational decision making across the University.The postholder will support the development and continuous improvement of budgeting, forecasting, reporting, costing and pricing methodologies, ensuring decision-makers have access to accurate, timely and relevant financial information to support the achievement of the University's strategic objectives.The role will also support the development of robust business cases and investment appraisals to ensure resources are allocated effectively and sustainably.For a full role profile, please refer to the job description below.
