Site Manager (Freelance)

Candidate required: Site Manager Job Type: Freelance 2 months Start date: ASAP Industry: Construction Professionals South Location: Isle of Wight The role & about the client: ITS Building People are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and reputable contractor who specialises in the delivery of refurbishment projects. As Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a key role in coordinating trades, managing subcontractors, and maintaining strong communication with all stakeholders. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Oversee and manage day-to-day site operations on site * Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and site personnel * Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards * Monitor progress against programme and ensure timely delivery * Maintain quality control and ensure works are completed to specification * Identify and resolve any issues or delays on site * Report regularly to senior management and liaise with clients and consultants * Drive productivity and maintain high standards across the site The ideal candidate will have/be: * Proven experience as a Site Manager on refurb projects * Strong background in construction * Excellent leadership and organisational skills * Ability to manage programmes and drive progress on site * Strong understanding of health & safety regulations * Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications * A proactive and solutions-focused approach How to apply: Please send an up-to-date CV in strict confidence.
