FLT Driver Location: L3 Pay: £14ph Shifts: 7am-3pm / 3pm-11pm / 11pm-7am Days: Monday - Friday Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious FLT (Forklift Truck) Driver to join our dynamic warehouse team. Responsibilities * Safely operate forklift trucks and other warehouse equipment to load and unload materials with precision and care * Handle materials efficiently, ensuring accurate placement and storage within designated areas * Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic repairs or notify maintenance for mechanical issues * Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation * Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records accurately * Assist with materials handling tasks, including stacking, organizing, and preparing goods for shipment or storage * Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times Experience * Proven experience operating forklift trucks in a warehouse or distribution setting * Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing * Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment repair and troubleshooting minor issues * Strong materials handling skills with the ability to lift heavy loads safely * Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures to ensure accurate processing of goods * Good understanding of safety standards related to heavy lifting and equipment operation * Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation Join us as a dedicated FLT Driver where your skills will drive operational excellence!
