Baker / Cake Maker | Fenstanton, Cambridgeshire | Full Time | £27,000 per annum Our client, based at Unit 5 Beech Court, Fenstanton, is looking to expand their talented production team with the addition of a Baker / Cake Maker. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and skilled baker who takes pride in creating high-quality cakes and baked products. Working within a friendly and professional environment, you will play an important role in maintaining the exceptional standards the business is known for. The Role Prepare and bake a variety of cakes, sponges, fillings, and other baked products to a consistently high standard Follow recipes accurately while maintaining quality, consistency, and presentation Assist with decorating and finishing cakes where required Ensure all products are prepared within production schedules and deadlines Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic working environment Monitor stock levels and assist with ingredient management Work collaboratively with the wider production team to achieve daily targets Contribute ideas for new products and seasonal offerings What We're Looking For Previous experience in a bakery, cake production, or similar baking environment Strong knowledge of baking techniques and cake preparation A keen eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality products Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment Good organisational and time management skills Positive attitude with the ability to work well as part of a team Understanding of food hygiene and safety standards A genuine passion for baking and cake making What's In It For You 32 days of annual leave per year Supportive and friendly team environment Opportunities for career growth and skill development Employee discounts on all baked goods What’s next?
