Project Planner – Piling

Job ID: 3619Region: Birmingham, Buckinghamshire, East Midlands, Midlands, Milton Keynes, West MidlandsA leading piling and ground engineering Contractor is seeking a Project Planner to work on a multi discipline very prestigious project based in the midlandsThe ideal candidate must have a strong civils engineering background ideally with piling / ground engineering exposureThe ideal candidate must have:Working knowledge of NEC, ECC/ICE Forms of Contract, SHW, SHW method of measurements and CESMM, Team Plan,HND/Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant experience gained from carrying out a similar roleStrong civils background with good experienceProficient in Asta Planning Software or Primavera P6Duties & Responsibilities:Production of tender and contract programmeProduction of planning file, notes and worksheetsProduction of quality phasing drawings/flowcharts/time slices/mass-haul diagramsIdentifies temporary works and traffic management requirementsPutting forward VE alternativesProduces programmes showing key constraints/key off-site procurement and design/key resources levelled and linked/float analysis/time risk allowances and is of optimistic and realistic overall durationsLiaises with internal and external colleaguesProduction of change programme and revised contractManagement of as built records and measure productivityProduction of planning reportMeasurement of planning standardIdentifies opportunities and threatEssential –Must have experience in a planning role with a UK Main Contractor or Subcontractor on a Civil Engineering Project
