Hairdressing Lecturer

Lecturer – Hairdressing & Barbering (Further Education) Location: London Salary: £33,429 – £46,618 per annum (including London Weighting) Job Type: Full-Time I am currently working with a well-established Further Education college in London that is looking to appoint a passionate and experienced Hairdressing & Barbering Lecturer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking department, delivering high-quality teaching to aspiring learners. The Role: You will be teaching across a range of Hairdressing and Barbering courses, supporting students to develop both practical skills and industry knowledge. Requirements: * Minimum Level 3 qualification in Hairdressing * Assessor qualification (or willingness to work towards) * At least 3 years’ industry experience in Hairdressing/Barbering * Previous teaching or training experience within Further Education * A passion for developing learners and sharing industry expertise Desirable: * Teaching qualification (support provided to achieve Level 5 if not already held) What’s on Offer: * Competitive salary with London weighting * Supportive college environment with ongoing professional development * Opportunity to gain further teaching qualification
