to £80k + Package and Subsistence
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced
Health & Safety Advisor
to join a major infrastructure project at
Sizewell C , one of the UK's most significant construction programmes.
Working as part of a dedicated project team, you will play a key role in promoting a positive health and safety culture, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements, and supporting the safe delivery of complex construction activities.
Key Responsibilities
Provide proactive health and safety advice and support to project teams. Conduct site inspections, audits, and behavioural safety observations. Assist in the development and implementation of health and safety plans, procedures, and risk controls. Support incident investigations and ensure effective corrective actions are implemented. Monitor compliance with relevant legislation, industry standards, and project requirements. Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and awareness campaigns. Maintain accurate health and safety records and reporting systems. Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to promote best practice. About You
NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum. Experience working within construction, civil engineering, geotechnical, or major infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to influence and engage with personnel at all levels. Proactive, organised, and committed to continuous improvement. Membership of IOSH and/or working towards chartered status would be advantageous. What's on Offer?
