Maintenance Manager

Electrical Maintenance Manager, £80,000 - £85,000, 4 on 4 off days, West London. The successful Maintenance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the Engineering Department, reporting directly into the Head of Engineering. You will lead a team and play a key role in driving performance, reliability, and continuous improvement within a FMCG environment. Maintenance Manager key responsibilities include: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of multi-skilled engineers and contractors Manage and deliver the site PPM strategy Prioritise and allocate engineering workloads effectively Oversee contractor management and site compliance Take ownership of first and second line management duties, including appraisals and performance reviews Drive engineering KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives Provide hands-on technical leadership focused on reliability and downtime reduction Support and deliver site engineering projects Essentials for the Maintenance Manager: Electrically biased engineer with a recognised apprenticeship background Strong experience within FMCG or process manufacturing environments Proven leadership and man management experience Strong understanding of PPM systems and reliability engineering Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach Strong knowledge of health & safety and compliance standards Full right to work in the UK You’ll be joining a well-established and highly respected FMCG manufacturer known for quality, stability, and continued investment.
