Stores Operative – 6 Month Contract (Potential to Extend) Chippenham Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 3:30pm We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Stores Operative to join a busy and fast-paced team in Chippenham on a 6-month contract, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and business needs. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with experience in warehouse or stores environments who is confident working with systems and managing stock efficiently. Key Responsibilities: * Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently * Booking goods in and out of stores using SAP * Kitting components for production or dispatch * Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory control * Supporting general stores and warehouse operations Requirements: * Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or logistics role * Experience using SAP or similar stock management systems * Strong attention to detail and organisational skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Good communication skills * Counterbalance forklift licence (preferred) What’s on Offer: * Competitive hourly rate * Overtime rates available * Stable 6-month contract with potential for renewal/extension * Consistent weekday hours (no weekends) * Supportive team and working environment Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.
