Finance Officer - Lewisham

Finance Officer Full-Time | 5 Days per Week | Lewisham An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Officer to join a welcoming and supportive school based in Lewisham. We are looking for a highly organised and knowledgeable finance professional with previous experience working within a finance environment, ideally within a school or education setting. A degree or relevant financial qualification is preferred, alongside strong knowledge of financial processes and procedures. Key Responsibilities Supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the school Processing invoices, payments, purchase orders and financial transactions Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting reconciliations Assisting with budgets, monitoring expenditure and financial reporting Liaising with suppliers, staff and external stakeholders Ensuring financial procedures and relevant policies are followed Providing general administrative support to the finance function About You Previous experience in a Finance Officer or similar finance role Strong knowledge of financial processes and procedures Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills Confident working with financial systems and spreadsheets Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team A degree or relevant financial qualification is desirableIf you are an experienced finance professional looking for a rewarding role within a supportive school environment, with opportunities to develop your career, we would love to hear from you. #INDLSS
