FLT Counterbalance Operator Hours: Mon-Fri 2 shift rota (6am-2pm/2pm-10pm) OR Nights (10pm till 6am) Rate: £13.90 per hour for days & £15.50 per hour for nights. ****Long-term opportunities for the right candidates**** Proman Recruitment is currently looking for Counterbalance Operators on behalf of our Client who is one of the largest food co-packers. You would need to able to work either a2 shift rota (weekly shift changes) or a fixed night shift. FLT Counterbalance Operators The Role As a forklift truck operator, your main duties would include: loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as lorries or vans moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following stock control instructions checking loads are secure stacking empty pallets performing daily equipment checks, for example recharging the truck's battery (if the truck is electric) The Candidate To be successful, you need to: have previous experience in operating Counterbalance truck be punctual and reliable be able to organise and prioritise workload have good numeracy and literacy skills Successful candidates will be invited to a 60 minute assessment  where they will be asked to present a valid FLT Counterbalance certificate/license (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent) To apply for this position, please apply on-line with your up-to-date CV.
