Remuneration: £45,000-£50,000 neg. + Bonus

The role of the Area Sales Manager Glass Products will involve:
Field sales position selling a manufactured range of glass products such as: flat glass, processed glass and toughened glass
Selling into the construction, glazing and architectural markers
Targeting various fabricators and installers (not selling directly to the contractors that carry out the project work one stage removed from that!)
Typically selling to metalwork companies, joinery companies, window manufacturers, trade window companies, furniture manufacturers, shop-fitters, interior fit-out companies and a smaller element of dealing with merchants who will cut the flat glass down to size for window and door fabricators and small glazing retailers
Circa 250 customers on the area
70% account management 30% new business development
Responisible for an area with a turnover of approx. £8m
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager Glass Products experience with:
Must have construction field sales experience in an associated industry
Ideally from a glass, glazing, windows, fenestration, profiles, glass processing, glass machinery background
If not glazing related you must have sold into fabricators or metalwork companies, joinery companies, window manufacturers, trade window companies, furniture manufacturers, shop-fitters or interior fit-out xwzovoh companies
Must have the tenacity to generate new business relationships
