About the job Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Depositary Administrator will support the delivery of depositary services across a portfolio of fund structures, ensuring compliance with the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD) through cash monitoring, asset verification, and operational oversight activities. Review and assess governing documentation for client entities Perform daily cash monitoring and reconciliation activities across client bank accounts Verify and maintain records of financial and non-financial assets throughout their lifecycle Conduct oversight reviews of fund operations, procedures, controls, and reporting processes Review subscription agreements, capital call notices, and distributions to ensure compliance with fund documentation Monitor fund activities to ensure adherence to investment guidelines and regulatory requirements Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, intermediaries, and key stakeholders Produce quarterly and annual compliance and oversight reports for clients Escalate potential risks, issues, or breaches to senior management where appropriate Maintain accurate records and update internal systems in line with company procedures Support ongoing process improvements and contribute ideas to enhance service delivery Assist with ad hoc projects and additional duties as required Your skills & experience Previous experience within accounting, finance, audit, fund administration, compliance, or financial services (Essential) Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities (Essential) Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work (Essential) Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities (Essential) Experience reviewing financial statements, legal documentation, or complex data sets (Desirable) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective client relationships (Essential) Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel (Essential) Ability to work independently while taking ownership of assigned responsibilities (Essential) Interest in financial services, investment funds, and working within a regulated environment (Essential) Experience within depositary, fund administration, asset management, or investment operations environments (Desirable) For further information on this opportunity or if you are considering the next step in your career, get in touch with Ollie Mairs at HireIQ in complete confidence.
