This opportunity is suitable for experienced EL/PL/OL lawyers as well as litigators from RTA backgrounds looking to retrain into this area. The role offers a high-quality caseload, excellent training and development, and strong earning potential through a transparent bonus structure.Your new roleYou will manage your own caseload of employer's liability, occupiers' liability and/or public liability claims, handling matters from inception through to conclusion. Depending on your level of experience, this may include both fast-track and multi-track litigation, with exposure to complex and higher-value claims. The firm operates with strong referral sources, providing genuine claimant work and a strong flow of quality instructions.Key Responsibilities:Manage a varied caseload of EL, OL and/or PL claims from inception to settlement or trial.Handle pre-litigated and litigated matters.Draft pleadings, witness statements and other legal documentation.Conduct legal research and provide clear, practical advice to clients.Negotiate settlements with insurers and opponent representatives.Progress cases efficiently in line with procedural requirements.Attend court hearings and advocacy where appropriate.Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the claims process.Support and mentor junior team members (senior-level applicants).What you'll need to succeedQualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive Experience handling claimant personal injury litigation.Previous OL/PL experience is desirable but not essential for candidates seeking a retraining opportunity.Strong understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules.Excellent negotiation, communication and client care skills.Ability to manage a caseload independently.Commercially aware with a proactive and organised approach to case management.Motivated to work within a target-driven environmentWhat you'll get in returnCompetitive salary dependent on experience.Uncapped bonus scheme.High-quality claimant caseload from established referral channels.Ongoing training and development, including support for lawyers retraining into OL/PL work.Strong administrative and litigation support.Hybrid working arrangements.Clear opportunities for progression within a growing teamWhat you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV.
