Regional Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver on behalf of a leading distributing company seeking a motivated individual to join their team. This role offers long-term work, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.  What's on Offer: A stable role within a well-established and growing company Friendly environment and well established team Competitive salary package with additional overtime available with the potential of overtime Qualifications:  Essential: Previous experince working in a warehouse or logistics enviroment is desirable but not essential Ability to carry out manual handling and physically damending tasks Good attention to detail to ensure accurate picking and packing  Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team Strong communication skills and a positive work ethic Ability to always follow health and safety procedures Willingness to work shifts, overtime or weekends when required Basic numeracy and literacy skills for reading labels and completing paperwork Desirable:  Forklift licence (FLT) is requred for this position  Roles & Responsibilities Loading and unloading deliveries using appropriate manual handling techniques Checking incoming goods against delivery notes and reporting any damages or discrepancies Sorting, organising, and storing stock in the correct warehouse locations Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks, pump trucks, and (where trained) forklifts Preparing goods for dispatch, including labelling, wrapping, and securing pallets Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times Following health and safety procedures and complying with warehouse regulations Requirements  As Counterbalance Driver you will also be expected to: · Proactive, driven individual who thrives in fast paced environments.
