Site Engineer – Ground Investigation 📍 Manchester 💰 £32,000 – £36,000 + Full Benefits Package Due to continued growth, a leading site investigation contractor is looking to appoint a Site Engineer to support a range of geotechnical and ground investigation projects across the North West. This is a site-focused role offering plenty of variety and hands-on project involvement. The successful candidate will come from a contracting background and will be confident supervising site works and coordinating field operations. Key Duties * Supervising drilling and ground investigation activities * Monitoring health & safety compliance on site * Soil and rock logging * Coordinating subcontractors and equipment * Supporting delivery of projects to programme * Working on highways, commercial, infrastructure, and development schemes About You * 2–3 years’ experience within a ground investigation contractor * Strong practical understanding of site investigation works * Comfortable working on site full time * Good communication and organisational skills * Full UK Manual Driving Licence required Benefits * Salary up to £36,000 depending on experience * Company vehicle and fuel card * Mobile phone and laptop * 24 days holiday plus bank holidays * Additional allowances for working away * Pension contribution scheme * Long-term career progression opportunities This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Site Engineer seeking a secure and rewarding role within a growing contractor.
