As our Engineer, you wil
l:Provide fast and efficient installation, diagnostics, repairs and preventive maintenance to all the machinery, plant and equipment within the factory, keeping the Senior Works Engineer fully informed and up-to-dat
e;Carry out basic electrical fault diagnosis and repair
s;Work with the Senior Works Engineer to facilitate large or major repairs to plant and equipmen
t;Assist in the development and implementation of a planned maintenance programme in consultation with the Senior Works Enginee
r;Demonstrate the effectiveness of planned maintenance through reducing numbers of breakdowns and problem-free equipment installation
s;Purchase sundries, machine parts and services, in liaison with the Senior Works Engineer, with due regard for stock levels and overall budge
t;Arrange, assist and direct external contractors for specialist work or installations in consultation with the Senior Works Engineer and Operations Directo
r;Participate in the technical aspects of capital investment decision
s;Advise senior management on Health and Safety issues or concern
s.

le.Higher level qualification in engineering or manufacturi
ng.Solid understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechani
cs.Familiarity using various power and hand too

ds.Problem-solving and organisational skills - a self-starter who is well organised, positive, flexible and highly motivated to get the job done efficiently and safely using own initiative, and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and ability to work some overti
