Priory Hospital Preston £Part Time - 22.5 Hours Priory Hospital Preston has an opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team on our eating disorders unit. This role is offered on a Part Time basis working 22.5 hours per week. Priory Hospital Preston, Bartle, near Preston is a mental health hospital offering services for adult males and females with acute mental health needs and eating disorders across four wards. It is accessible by public transport, with local bus routes and Preston railway station nearby. In this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care. Lead multidisciplinary ward rounds, risk assessments, strategic reviews, and therapeutic planning. Act as Responsible Clinician for patients detained under the Mental Health Act (1983). Provide specialist psychiatric expertise to multidisciplinary assessment, formulation, and treatment planning. Candidates should also have evidence of ongoing continuous professional development.
