Vehicle Technician (Motor/Car)

Permanent, full-time position based in Ipswich.

Salary

Competitive basic salary, depending on qualifications and experience + monthly productivity bonus + qualification payments + paid overtime

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester to join a well-established Honda dealership offering manufacturer training, clear technical progression and Monday-to-Friday working with no weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out Honda servicing and routine vehicle maintenance.
• Complete MOT testing in line with current standards.
• Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.
• Undertake mechanical and electrical repair work.
• Complete warranty repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Carry out brake, steering and suspension repairs.
• Undertake timing belt, clutch and engine work.
• Complete vehicle health checks using digital reporting systems.
• Prepare approved used vehicles for sale.
• Carry out road testing where required.
• Maintain consistently high standards of workmanship and safety.
