Sports Science Director

Materials and Scientific Headhunters, Sport Headhunters Competitive London Permanent Full-time As a global supplier of high quality sportswear and equipment, our client is looking for a Sports Science Director to oversee a newly formed sports science team that works at the highest level across a number of sports including athletics, football, tennis and cycling. With an increased focus on sports science at the top professional levels of most sports, providing advanced technological analysis and solutions is becoming the critical difference between success and failure.This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop a team of dynamic and passionate individuals who are constantly looking for innovative ways to gain a competitive edge. The successful candidate must have a Sports Science degree as a minimum at grade 2:1 or higher along with substantial experience of working in Sports Science roles dealing with various clients across sports clothing and equipment. The right calibre candidate will have a proven track record in people management and delivering innovative solutions on time and on budget. An ability to work under pressure and a thirst for new challenges will also be essential. Based in the London head office, substantial travel across the UK and Europe will be required to meet with various clients. A superb remuneration package is on offer for the right candidate.
