School Cleaner - Dartford Location: Dartford, Kent Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm - 6:00pm Contract: Temporary with potential for ongoing work Working Pattern: Term-time only Start Date: ASAP Salary: £14.24 per hour Academics Ltd are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join a friendly and welcoming secondary school in Dartford. This is a great opportunity for an experienced cleaner looking for a part-time, term-time only role, working Monday to Friday from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. Key Responsibilities Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets and communal areas. Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping and dusting throughout the school. Emptying bins and replenishing consumables where required. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Following health and safety procedures and COSHH guidelines. Reporting any maintenance, cleaning or health and safety concerns to the Site Team. Working independently and as part of the wider cleaning team. The Ideal Candidate Will Have Previous cleaning experience, ideally within a school, office or commercial environment. A strong eye for detail and pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness. The ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision. A reliable, punctual and professional approach to work. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service OR be willing to pay for and obtain a new Enhanced DBS. A commitment to safeguarding and maintaining a safe environment for pupils. What's on Offer?
