Teacher of Economics (A Level) Location: Richmond Salary: £40,317 - £62,496 per annum (depending on experience) Contract: Full-time, permanent Start date: September 2026

Tradewind are proud to be working with a prestigious independent school in Richmond seeking to appoint a well-qualified, experienced and enthusiastic Teacher of Economics to join their high-achieving and dynamic Economics Department.

About the Role

The successful candidate will teach A Level Economics (AQA specification) to both Lower and Upper Sixth, inspiring academic excellence and a genuine interest in the subject. The department enjoys a strong reputation, excellent results, and a collaborative atmosphere that encourages professional growth and innovation in teaching.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across the full A Level Economics syllabus
• Support and challenge students to achieve the highest standards
• Contribute to the ongoing development of departmental resources and schemes of work
• Participate fully in the broader life of the school, including co-curricular activities

Candidate Requirements

• A degree in Economics or a closely related discipline
• Recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
• Proven experience teaching Economics at A Level, ideally within the AQA specification
• A passion for Economics and commitment to inspiring young people
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
