We're recruiting a Night Supervisor to join a beautiful resort in Hayling Island, Portsmouth on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the hotel during the night, leading the overnight operation while delivering an exceptional guest experience. You'll enjoy: £13.21 per hour Permanent contract with 32-40 hours per week Night shifts from 10:30pm to 7:00am 29 days' holiday, increasing with length of service Additional holiday entitlement after 2 years' service Monthly share of the resort's service charge Discounts across the resort, including for family and friends Free staff meals whilst on duty Free onsite parking Free gym membership Company pension scheme Access to wellness programmes Excellent progression and career development opportunities A supportive team within a stunning coastal resort Key Responsibilities As a Night Supervisor, you will: Lead the overnight operation, ensuring the hotel runs smoothly and safely throughout the night Inspire and support the night team to deliver exceptional guest service Welcome guests, oversee late check-ins and early departures, and handle guest enquiries Carry out security checks and maintain a safe environment for guests and colleagues Resolve guest issues confidently and professionally Complete the night audit and overnight reporting accurately Ensure public areas remain clean, presentable and guest-ready Prepare the hotel for the following day's operations Work closely with other departments to maintain exceptional service standards What we're looking for The ideal Night Supervisor will have: Previous experience in a Night Supervisor, Night Porter or similar hotel role Strong leadership skills with a passion for guest service The confidence to make decisions and work independently Excellent communication and organisational skills Good computer literacy Knowledge of the Guestline system is preferred but not essential Flexibility to work a Monday to Sunday night rota Ready to take the lead and make every guest's overnight stay a memorable one?
