C# Developer

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £55,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Write clean, well-organized, and sustainable .NET code, creating new features and improving existing applications.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize deployed software to ensure high reliability and performance.
• Partner closely with product managers, testers, and operations staff to drive software innovation and document technical requirements.
• Champion excellent software development standards within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
• Expert knowledge of C# and the .NET Framework, with a background in ASP.NET MVC / Web API.
• Solid experience working with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL or PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with event-driven programming, message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka), and multi-threaded/concurrent programming.
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Bonus Points For

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, tools, and non-relational databases (especially Cassandra).
• Exposure to real-time data acquisition and industrial protocols
