Are you an experienced Security Systems/Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer looking to join a well-established and growing business working on high-profile residential and commercial projects across London and the Southeast?
We are a long-standing family-run business specialising in Security, Fire, Door Entry, Access Control and Data System solutions for high-rise developments, new builds and occupied residential sites. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a proactive and technically skilled engineer to join our commissioning team.
This is a field-based role offering excellent long-term stability, varied projects, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to work with leading security technologies and manufacturers.

What you will be doing as a Commissioning Engineer:
Commissioning and configuring door entry, access control and integrated security systems
Testing, fault finding and troubleshooting systems to ensure optimal performance
Working with installation teams, project managers and clients during project delivery
Carrying out system handovers and client training
Providing technical support both remotely and on-site when required
Ensuring systems meet client specifications and industry standards
Completing commissioning records and documentation accurately
Maintaining high health & safety standards at all times

You will ideally have experience working with some of the following:
Door Entry Systems (Audio & Video Intercoms)
Access Control Systems
IP-based Security Systems
CCTV Systems
Integrated Life Safety Systems

What we are looking for to be our Commissioning Engineer:
Proven experience as a Commissioning Engineer within the security systems industry
Strong experience with access control and door entry systems
Good understanding of IP networking and structured cabling
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical faults efficiently
Strong communication and customer-facing skills
Full UK driving licence
Experience with CCTV, intruder systems or fire alarms, life safety is essential.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
8:00am 5:00pm
Field-based across London and the Southeast with occasional visits to the Northolt office. xwzovoh
